Reverend Sherlene McIntosh

Reverend Sherlene McIntosh was born to the late Andy and Edna Jones in Trenton New Jersey. She attended schools in Mercer County and graduated from Trenton Central High School. She gave her life to Christ at the early age of 13 and was baptized at New Salem Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey. She was married to the late Johnnie McIntosh and has two sons, Jason and Matthew who she thinks are just awesome and amazing. She was licensed to preach the gospel on June 4, 2022, at Nevertheless Outreach Ministry, Bishop Lynda Brown-Hall. She serves as the Executive Assistant to the Pastor and the Community Outreach Leader.

She attended Rutgers University and graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & Sociology and has done graduate studies at the George Washington University. After a stellar career at the United States Department of Education, Washington, DC, she retired on January 3, 2014, where she served in various positions as a manager and had the opportunity to be a public servant for over 33 years. She loves participating with the Toastmasters International Organization and is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), which is the highest distinction as a Toastmaster. In this role she has served in many leadership positions in District 27.

She currently serves as a mentor and coach to some of her family members and to individuals in the DMV. She loves to read, listen to all forms of music (especially jazz). She has a great passion for people, especially the homeless, those trying to find their way and individuals who are dealing with various addictions.

Her love for God is breathtaking as she would say…. Her favorite scripture is: Proverbs 3: 5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path.”
