Reverend Lynda Brown-Hall

Her confession has remained, “…. not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me….” (John 6:38).
Nevertheless, thy will be done!

Reverend Lynda Brown-Hall was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She is one of eight children of her late parents John Lover and Juanita Virginia Brown. She received her early education in the D.C. Public School system. Reverend Brown-Hall received a Certificate from the graduated from the Washington Bible College in Lanham, MD. She graduated with a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies, a concentration of Pastoral Ministries (Cum Laude) and continued her post-secondary education and received a Master of Divinity, a concentration of Christian Counseling from Maple Springs Baptist Bible College & Seminary in Capitol Heights, MD. She is currently enrolled in the American Institute of Health Care Professionals to obtain recertification as a certified Christian Counselor. Reverend Brown-Hall retired in September 2008, from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia after 47 years of combined Federal Government service in various Law Enforcement Agencies within the Justice and Labor Departments. Reverend Brown-Hall was a member of Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs, Camp Springs, MD for 30 years. She accepted the call to Minister the Gospel and was licensed (March 2001) and ordained (December 2009) by the late Reverend John H. Parker. She served in numerous positions during her tenure there. She currently serves as an Associate Minister at the Unity Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., under the leadership of Reverend Charles W. McNeill, Jr. In 1999 Reverend Brown-Hall founded the Nevertheless Outreach Ministry (NTL) to promote the truth of the God’s Word and effect change in the lives of those served. NTL shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind locally and internationally. In 2006, Reverend Brown-Hall and NTL organized the Kericho, Kenya Foreign Mission Project; Citywide Women’s Conference; and the NTL Outreach Educational Scholarship Program. She was also instrumental in building the training center for the Kipsitet Widows Action Group in Kenya, East Africa, which bears her Swahili given name, The Che Bai Bai Widows Training Center (2011-2019). Through the Nevertheless Outreach Ministry, Reverend Brown-Hall has served the people and spread the Gospel locally throughout the United States and internationally (Ghana, Kenya, Guyana, Jamaica, Cierra Leon, India, Jamaica, London, Israel, Palestine and Amsterdam). In 2009-2019 NTL and other partners built the Kipsitet Baptist Church Medical Clinic, Kenya, East Africa (2009-2019). Reverend Brown-Hall served as Associate Minister at Maple Springs Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, MD under Pastor Larry W. Jordon, and its current Pastor, Reverend Sam Tarver (2014-2018). In 2015, Pastor Jordan selected Reverend Brown-Hall to lead and organize a new Women’s Ministry at MSBC. Under Reverend Brown-Hall’s leadership, the new ministry, Women of Purpose (WOP) went from a vision to become one of the most productive ministries in the church. WOP united women and families through spiritual understanding and growth in the church as well as the local and global community. In addition to preaching the Gospel, Reverend Brown-Hall served as the Assistant Pastor to Canaan Baptist Church, Washington, D.C. (2009-20011) and Organizer/Past President of the Alumni Association of Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary (2010-2015) and Trustee of the Board of Trustees for the Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary (2014-2016). She serves as Director of the National Capital Baptist Convention, Pastoral Care and Counseling Commission (2017-2019) and a NTL Foreign Mission Ambassador (2005-2019) and collaborates with the Lott Carey Foreign Missions Convention (2007-2019) and the National Capital Baptist Convention of Washington, D.C. & Vicinity (2016-2019). In September 2018, she was voted in as Pastor-Elect and the First Pastor of Nevertheless Outreach Ministry Church. Her extensive training, education, ministerial positions, outreach and missionary assignments have prepared her for this day that God has bestowed upon her. She married to Minister Michael Jackson. She is the proud mother of Morse Hall, III; Juanita Virginia Hall and grandmother of Zaire, Zaniya, Zakira, Morissa Hall, and Jeremiah Prentiss, III. Reverend Brown-Hall loves the Lord and is committed to live for Jesus. She is steadfast, unmovable and always abounds in the work of the Lord as commanded by 1 Corinthians 15:58. Her extensive ministerial service has made a significant impact to Kingdom building by spreading the Gospel and heeding to God’s Word.
