The church’s community outreach ministry aims to foster meaningful connections and support within the community.

This may be through various initiatives, such as: clothing donations, food donations, educating on the various aspects of drug prevention, treatment centers, conversations on various topics with the youth, seniors, and members of the church.

We sponsor an annual community day, in which we have our partners throughout the DMV, who participate in these initiatives: For example, staff are from:  Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, various office from DC Government, DC Police Department, DC Fire Department, local libraries, local dentists and doctors.

All the workshops are free to the community.  Also, we conduct monthly conversations, Narcan (prevention training) financial counseling, mental health, a series of conversations on breast cancer, where survivors told their stories, and Celebrate Recovery for those individuals who share their stories of their past addictions and where they currently are

It is our desire to foster a solid platform for building and developing relationships and aiding those in need, as we share Christ with those who we meet.   Our church strives to promote a place of compassion, unity, and love among the members as well as the community.

The vision of Nevertheless Outreach Ministry is to bring glory and honor to the Triune God by promoting the truth of God’s Word to effect change in the lives of those we serve.
