The Kenya Project

The Kenya Project Completed July 2023

The Kenya Project started in 2006 with the team of, Dr. Larry Wayne Jordan, Deacon James Thompson and Reverend Lynda Brown-Hall. This Project grew over the years with Central Baptist Church of Camp Spring, Pastor Lincoln Burruss, Jr., as the first to join in. Followed by Zion Hill Baptist Church, Elder Debra James, New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Dr. Ernestine Battle, Edgewood Baptist Church, Rev. Frankey Grayton, Restoration Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Vaughn Sr., Restoration Deliverance Church, Bishop Angelo Ellison. Individuals and companies: Morse Hall, III, Dr. Aurora Delespin-Jones, Maya Anderson, Mumbi Carter, Sherlene Mcintosh, and many others.

From 2006 to 2023. We were able to build a medical clinic, structured 7 dispensaries in the bush, purchase land for widows to grow corn, trained widows and women’s group on how to make jewelry and clothing, taught endless classes on hygiene, birth control, HIV, economics and much more. Held extensive training with pastors and church leaders annually.

We were able to establish the widow’s groups as a registered women incorporation. They would take food grown, clothes made and jewelry to the market sell it and share proceeds with other widows in need.

Nevertheless Outreach Ministry raided funds to support this project from 2006 to 2023 to cover expenses for the medical clinic along with Maple Springs Baptist Church, including: staff salaries, security, waiver tanks, lab equipment, furniture, erecting additional buildings for birthing, overnight stays for those seeking treatment, burial expenses for the indigent, ordained 13 pastors school and licensed 1 preacher, paid school fees for orphans and Seminary fees for Clergy.

It is with great pride that we have taught the people of Kenya, East Africa vital tools for sustainability and expansion. This project was concluded in July 2023. Thanks to everyone who supported Nevertheless over the past 18 years. Your love, support, prayers, and many lives altering donations blessed over 2.5 million Kenyans that visited our clinic and those we visited in the bush. The work continues, but Nevertheless, Central Baptist Church of Camp Spring, New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Zion Hill Baptist Church and Restoration Baptist Church band individual partners have concluded our support. We continue to lift the people of Kenya in prayer.
