Reverend Roxanne Watkins

Reverend Roxanne Watkins was born to late Milton Watkins and Margaret Chase in the District of Columbia (DC). She attended schools in DC and obtain her GED from Morgan Town West Virginia. She has done undergraduate studies at Prince Georges County Community College. She accepted Christ at the age 47 and was baptized at, The Church of Living Waters, Washington, D.C. She has one daughter, KeaSha Rogers. She obtained her initial license as an Evangelist from the Gateway Cathedral of Praise, the late Bishop Diana L. Dunn. She later joined Nevertheless Outreach Ministry Church and was there licensed to preach the gospel on June 4, 2022 and ordained on August 4, 2023 by Bishop Lynda Brown-Hall, where she serves at the Intercessory Prayer Lead and assist the pastor with Sunday School and Bible Study presentations.

Her outreach experience in serving the community is extensive and included, but are not limited to: Community Outreach, being a member of the Prayer Squad at her previous church, caring for the homeless, leading meeting on drug prevention, along with lending a listening ear. She is currently employed at New Hope Housing, Inc., Alexandria VA.

She is a dedicated servant of God through many toils and snares she has already overcome. She maintains her focus and heart towards the matters of God in her unwavering commitment to serving others. Her faithfulness is to be commended.

Her favorite Scripture Philippians 3:16, “I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me”.
